Combining the areas of vehicle motion & safety, environment & efficiency and comfort & fun in one business unit. We act as the one face to the customer, facilitating internal and external processes. We are globally responsible for sales, marketing and engineering for two-wheeler and powersports specific products. With our headquarter in Yokohama, Japan and branches in the United States, Europe, India, and China, we coordinate two-wheeler and powersports activities all around the world. JOEM is strong and market leader especially in 2 Wheeler segment.
Job Description
- Manage vehicle and engine control unit software, hardware and calibration development team
- Go through performance cycles, train them through continuous feedback and enable them to the next stages in their career
- Support your team to define project objectives, scope and deliverables and apply project lifecycle, methodology and processes effectively
- Ensure precise provision of customer requirements by effectively reviewing the scope of works and delivering a successful implementation.
Qualifications
- Experience in an engineering leadership role preferably in control unit development area
- Experience in working in an international environment
- Experience building strong, effective engineering teams through hiring, coaching, and mentoring
- Strong people management skills
- Excellent communication skills and ability to influence stakeholders
- Basic knowledge of project management principles/experience improving processes
- Business level Japanese and English
- Passion for the mobility industry
Additional Information
You will be responsible for a diverse and passionate team, responsible for the development of 2 wheeler/powersports engine and vehicle control units. The team is the first point of contact to our customers here in Japan and international team within Bosch for all technical tasks related to control unit development.
